You"ll be responsible mostly for writing code for our Java back end applications. You"ll work closely with the technical architect, that drives the technical direction, and other developers on designing the technical solution. You"ll also collaborate with business analysts and enterprise architects to identify the business needs and with testers on constantly improving the quality of the software we build. We have very experienced senior developers and architect that will put you in picture as well we are keeping our documentation up to date and shared across all the involved parties.
Our microservices are running on SpringBoot 2 and Java 11 we are using Spring framework like Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Integration, Spring Cloud and others. We expose our APIs to our clients through Apigee. We build RESTful (OpenAPI 2 and 3 standard) and GrapqQL APIs. We are using Git for version control, Maven as a build tool, Nexus to store artifacts, Jenkins and Rundeck to build and deploy in our CI/CD pipeline. We use JUnit with Mockito for unit testing and Cucumber for component testing. For continuous quality we use static code analysis SonarQube and Fortify, which is focused on security and our APIs are scanned by WebInspect. We have Oracle database and we"re using JPA/Hibernate as ORM layer. Our services and servers are monitored using AppDynamics. We have also SpringBoot Admin in place for OPS and developers. We are collaborating using Atlassian tools Confluence and JIRA. As development IDE most of our developers are using Intellij IDEA Ultimate.
