Establishment of a limited liability company (S.R.O.) in Slovakia

In this article, we consider the main issues related to the creation of a limited liability company (hereinafter s.r.o.) in Slovakia. Relevance is due to the fact that s.r.o. is the most popular and widespread form of business society, which is used for entrepreneurship by foreigners. One of the goals of creating s.r.o. is, as a rule, obtaining a residence permit in Slovakia on the basis of entrepreneurial activity.

The process of creating s.r.o. relatively simple. It consists of two stages. The first stage is the organization and creation of s.r.o. Then, after the founder receives a residence permit, it is registered in the so-called Obchodnom registri SR (hereinafter referred to as OR).
